Fallen Legends

Elvis Presley, he is the best example of a drug fanatic legend.
Many music stars take drugs, so why?
I think it is because they all have really hard pressure on them and so the need to escape from there "star-life" so the take drugs because of their situation. It also could be because they want to be more creative but I think that just was in the past like that.

Legends in future

I think in the future there will be even more stars. Because I think many new styles and split of styles are going to be popular, but I think still the “old” music will continue. The music we have today with just more.
But I think it will be harder to define who is a music legend then.

Legends in history

In the past there were more Music Legends because today there are so many really well known stars. In the 60’s and 90’s there were only a few stars that were really big stars and well were known. For example there was Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, Tupac Shakur, and of course Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson. Of course these weren’t the only ones. In History the really big stars like for example Elvis Presley had such an success because they produced the exactly right music in the exactly right time and made everyone happy. From time to time there were more and more teenie-stars, I will tell more about these young stars later. Elvis was the first really “star”. He was a sensation and the one with the most influence in the pop history. In his years as musician he recorded over 1000 songs. Today he is still called the “King of Rock’ n ’Roll”, rightly.
Then of course were The Beatles which said that without Elvis there never would have been The Beatles. Beatles with the today’s Legends Paul McCartney and John Lennon. The Rock’n’Roll was very popular, people liked good and happy vibes.

First Blog

So, this is my first Blog ever...little nervous :D

In this blog I will write about the Legends of Music. It is a bit hard or for better said for everyone different to decide who is a “Legend” of music. I could work out the Legends of Music by the amount of selled CD’s or the amount of Fans in countries or the charts.

But I will write about the legends of music by researching different ideas and then decide for myself which are the legends of music.
So, don’t be sad if your “legend” of music isn’t there.

I will tell you the general information and of course many interesting facts!
